It is important to remember that from a Natural healing perspective, fever is a friend. It is a sure sign that the body's Immune system is alive and kicking. A fever burns all undesirable unwanted guests like viruses and bacteria, clears blockages, throws out toxins, and is generally to be considered a welcome visitor. Fever is not a disease - it is the body's RESPONSE to a disease.

Whatever are the Sanjeevinis that are applicable in the case you are treating, give them in water for sipping frequently when the patient is awake. When the patient is sleeping an occasional drop in the mouth is adequate.

NOTES ON A FEW SUB COMBINATIONS UNDER SSC 21

All Combinations listed above act as curatives as wells as preventives.

When traveling to areas where some of the diseases listed above are endemic, one can take the relevant combination as a preventive at a subtle level along with any other allopathic or homeopathic preventive.

Dosage :

as a preventive : OD - Once a day for a week - before travel

BDS - Twice daily - during travel to the affected area or country.

As a curative : TDS – three times a day or more depending on the aggravation


SSC 21 (h) Filaria

The affected Body Parts Sanjeevinis may be given eg. Leg and Foot Sanjeevini, Male combination or Female combination. An acute case must be treated like any other fever case. Do not refuse old cases where the body part is swollen (lymph drainage is impaired). Some very old cases have been greatly helped by the Sanjeevinis by removing most of the discomfort and swelling. In old cases add DS 125 Swelling Sanjeevini.

SSC 21 (i) Dengue :

Add more combinations or sanjeevinis depending on symptoms.

This Sanjeevini is to be used for all types and strains of Dengue Fever.

SSC 21 (i) Meningitis :

Add any other combinations or Sanjeevinis according to symptoms e.g. Headache, Neck, Pain etc

This Sanjeevini is for both viral and bacterial infection of the meninges, the membrane that covers the brain. Make the Sanjeevini combination in water and give frequently. Keep the patient on a liquid diet consisting of juices and blended fruits.

SSC 21 (l) Swine flu :

To this combination you can add any other Sanjeevini or Selected Sanjeevini combinations that you may wish to include depending on the symptoms and your inner guidance e.g. SSC37 Throat problems combination, SSC 28 Lung and Chest Combination, SSC16(f)Diarrhoea and Dysentry Combination under , SSC18 Emergency combination.

DS 158 Anxiety Sanjeevini is a fervent prayer to the Divine to calm the mind for conserving one’s mental and spiritual energy. Anxiety, fear or panic weakens our immune system thereby weakening our inherent strength to fight the virus or any other disease.
